I started painting landscapes in watercolor around 2010, but with only the knowledge I gained from my profession in architectural perspective, I struggled to capture both the composition and the shapes well when faced with actual landscapes.
In the architectural perspective production I have been doing until now, the focus has been on simplified perspective drawing methods, sketches with rulers, airbrushing, and masking, and since I was using poster colors, I was not accustomed to handling watercolor paints and brushes. In the first place, landscape painting with transparent watercolors was unexpected, and since I transitioned to digital work, my analog skills remained underdeveloped.
After much trial and error, I realized my lack of drawing skills, and after practicing figures and vehicles, I trained my drawing skills while referencing actual landscapes. As I continued for a long time, I began to feel that my abilities were gradually improving.
